Foundation for Youth Employment in Pakistan Update

Below you will find a communication from the Foundation for Youth Employment in Pakistan (FYEP) team sent to alumni on March 22, 2024.

“We are writing to you today to let you know that the Foundation for Youth Employment in Pakistan (FYEP) will suspend its operations on April 8, 2024. 

Since our founding in 2019, it has been our distinct privilege to train more than 1,100 graduates for new careers in technology, healthcare, and customer service and sales. What we have been able to achieve together during this time is incredible and humbling. More than 75% of Generation Pakistan learners were unemployed when they joined our programs, and more than 80% of graduates found employment within 90 days of graduating. On average, they have earned four times more income than before coming to Generation. Our programs have been a model for what is possible for employment in Pakistan. 

You remain a valued part of the Generation Global Alumni Network, with the same rights and privileges of the group. We will still reach out to you from time to time to share alumni opportunities, and we will continue to evaluate the ongoing impact of FYEP programs. As such, you might still hear from us to ask how you are doing in your career and personal growth. 

We are incredibly proud of all that our graduates have achieved thus far for themselves and their families. We wish you every continued success on your journey.
